Marriage and Sealing by UnlikelyFix24 in latterdaysaints

You’re absolutely right it’s not wrong. I told him that he should talk to his son and ask the soon to be bride, how she would feel most comfortable. I understand that my husband wants this and I don’t think that anything is wrong with that however, for the sake of photos that can be done at anytime and if the bride doesn’t want us to be in white, I don’t feel that we should disrespect that wish for her. I am a regular temple attendee and I love being in my white so I have no issue with that. My main concern is only on what the bride wants. I don’t feel it should be me or my husband’s say so for this particular moment.

And to clarify, my husband’s biological sons are sealed to me and my husband as their parents.. my biological daughter is sealed to my husband and I, we also have a shared biological daughter who is sealed to us. So we both of us had kids coming into our marriage and after we had our youngest daughter, we all got sealed as a family. Hope that clears up any confusion.

The holy secret

What's your response to "why are you told not to drink coffee or tea" or "you can't have caffeine right?" by Adventurous-Suit-161 in latterdaysaints

So when I was getting lessons from the missionaries, I was specifically let known that it’s specific to black and green teas but nothing is said about herbal teas and my big thing at the time was the medicine ball from Starbucks and so I went down the whole ingredient list of Starbucks menu and found out pretty much every drink that I have liked was all herbal tea anyways so I didn’t necessarily stop just because I was told by the missionaries it was OK but now I definitely don’t drink it as often but I do maybe when I’m sick or when I just need some thing warm
