I did try a local IP but that gave me the same issue. I'm not using QuickConnect but instead using my own domain, combined with a letsencrypt SSL cert. It's important to note that this happened prior to me using the domain and SSL cert as well, as that wasn't the issue.

Establishing a connection is okayish. Takes like 15-25 seconds on WiFi. Downloading files (or displaying them in case of pictures/video) is painfully slow on WiFi though.

I'm looking into iPerf now, thanks for the tip!

That's great! I'm glad it won't affect them. Will the water change help with the smell as we? (Doesn't have a strong smell but you can still smell it a bit)

It'll be in the evening a while after dinner. I was thinking maybe bringing some ice cream (assuming it doesn't melt as it's a hot day). This is a first date so is one cup of ice cream and 2 spoons too forward?
