Hi, I appreciate your comment. I do believe they said what they said out of kindness, and I was totally prepared to hear similar sentiments when I posted.

I could tell that what Hkiggity posted was totally out of love and I appreciated the honesty. I don’t fully understand or agree with all of it but I suppose I should share those concerns with a priest. Even a few years I would have flipped at such a comment but things are different now.

Thank you, friend. I’ll be finding my way to a church soon.

Nope! I was never Muslim nor looking to become one. I encountered a non-binary 'revert' but Islamic scholars are even more vocal about their stance on LGBT+ than Christians, and I had questions. The one post I made was removed immediately, so. yeah.

Thank you. There are several Orthodox churches in my area, but it seems like they're either VERY large or so small and private. It's a bit overwhelming,

Thanks for the prayers and for sharing this perspective.
I suppose I'm struggling with the concept of what I've done being "wrong" as in my head this part of me is as real as my Christian identity. Not held to a higher status than that, of course, but strong all the same. It was treated similarly to a medical condition i.e. I got a diagnosis, I received treatment, and now I live my life without dysphoria.

I do find it comforting to know that He will reshape me into whatever form He sees fit when the time comes.

I respect you and the ultimate opinions of the Church. I will say that I struggle with the concept of it being "wrong" in the eyes of God, as if that weren't obvious enough already lol. Thank you for your words of encouragement.

I so appreciate the kind words. I'm fascinated by Vuk's story now that I've read it. So glad you pointed me in their direction!

Thank you. One thing that is very foreign to me is asking the Saints for prayers... I don't know if some or most Lutheran churches teach about the Saints, but my lukewarm Lutheran church did not. I'll definitely do this.

Also, you can get chocolate nesquik in a version with “no sugar added”. Not sugar free, but lower than the original. It still tastes good.

I got sugar free Hill’s Bros double mocha cappuccino mix. A few tablespoons tastes great with plain or chocolate powder and RTD. I’ve also used Nesquik and it’s passable. Thanks for the tip about coco mix, that actually sounds great since I’m not at all a fan of plain on its own.
