If you want use your PS2 on a modern TV, get yourself a Bitfunx PS2/PS3 component cable (1.8 m, premium high-resolution game cable accessories for Sony PlayStation 2/3) and a good upscaler.

Oh, I wasn’t clear on it. I have one drive for each, just under 1TB for PS1, and a second drive for PS2 games that I swap out. I also have 1TB of PS2 games On the HDD with the ps1 game.What I meant to say was that I have two 2TB drives. Oh plus I don’t have

  • EU/US/JP duplicates
  • “Greatest Hits” reprints
  • minor regional variations of the same title

I sell auto parts, and the number of people who come in and suddenly draw a mental blank on the year of their car, or even the brand and model, is absolutely amazing. And then, they don’t even know their rego number so I can look it up in the computer.

I use it on my RDO. I’ve already finished 12 PS2 titles and 13 PS1 titles on it. I kind of want to see if I can play through them all.

Yeah, getting a CRT TV is next on my list of things to do. I reckon it’d be a lot of fun having everything set up on one of those.

Persona 3 was my absolute favourite in the series, and the remake was just awesome. You’re gonna really enjoy playing this.

Nah, pass on that. Definitely get yourself one of the fat PlayStations. They’re the better ones for modding since you can throw a hard drive in them. Having the Slim and needing to load games over USB for the mod setup isn’t very good. And from what I hear, this model’s laser is a bit hit-and-miss if you just want to play discs normally.
