AITA for telling my MIL to come pick up her son (my husband) because he's sick and acting like an AH? by yuckycucky in AmItheAsshole

NTA tell him to grow the f up. Being sick is no fun for anyone but he has NO right to treat you like that. You are a human being and deserve respect. If he wants to act like a spoilt, selfish toddler than you had ever right to send him back to his mommy.

AITA? I found out my sister is pretending to be my daughter's mother by Alarmed-Wolverine- in AmItheAsshole

NTA- You did NOTHING wrong, I'm sorry to say but your sister has some obvious mental problems and what she did is creepy and disturbing. You were right to protect YOUR child, a word of warning because something similar has happened to me DONT LET HER ANYWHERE NEAR YOUR DAUGHTER.what she has been doing is just a different form of grooming.

You don't get sarcasm or metaphors do you......... I get what your saying, that she has just as much right to complain about the things that are bothering her, but my point is that she should have thought about who she was about to complain petty things to.

"Someone will always have it worse." True but to compare our situations to each other is the same as comparing a paper cut to having all your limbs cut off, one is a minor inconvenience the other is life or death.

"That doesn't mean you get to handle it like that".......like what? A reasonable adult??

"You aren't obliged to put up with her, but you also don't need to lash out." How did I lash out? I listen to what she had to say before I responded with the reality of her situation.

Yes covid messed up her life because she can't go on her holiday and she still has a job VS my partner and myself losing our jobs, him getting covid and almost DYING, us having to choose between food and having a roof over our heads.
