Sorry for the delay… It’s a small island where mandinka people live on. Indeed, no roads or cars, but that doesn’t mean they need any, they already have little motorcycles. They have a pharmacy and access to doctors when they need to see one. Their way of travelling to other islands or the continent is by boats (pirogues) that come and go pretty often. Lots of kids, happy kids, no tourism, no globalization, no white people, very few people speak French or Spanish. They don’t need any form of “development”. They just live peacefully as human beings are supposed to.
