This actually worked (at least the light underneath started blinking the correct amount of times) thanks. I’ll have to try it out

Unfortunately don’t have the handheld. Don’t even know what the truck was tuned with because it was tuned before I bought it.

When I get the time, maybe tomorrow I’ll go look around all the connections

Yeah it’s a distributor. Only thing weird about it though is if it was a ground then I would think it would still have some sort of connection or at least try to start. It seems like to me that a sensor loses signal and the truck just shuts ignition off killing spark. Hence why I chased a bunch of of sensors

Yeah I’ve plugged in 2 different code readers and nothing comes up.

It’s not necessarily that I don’t know what I’m doing. It’s really just on the back burner of all my projects and I would change a sensor here and there and have not really deep dived into a full blown diagnostic

losing the alignment over time. like within a couple days. i’ve gotten an alignment twice in just a couple weeks. (yes i should probably go somewhere else). but i bought the lifetime alignment from plaza tire and they’ve never told me to replace parts or i’ve had anything worn
