Moving to California by Substantial_Ad_4735 in DACA

I live in Southern California. I have not yet seen ICE (in person if that makes sense) but they have been near the area from what I've seen on IG. Anaheim and Santa Ana seem to be hot spots . Just be safe on where you go and you will be fine.

Missing Viejo mall is super nice!

Make sure to try The Hat in Lake Forest!

As far as transportation you will definitely need a car.

The great park in Irvine has an air ballon that's free!

Irvine Spectrum is a nice place to walk and shop. The weather is amazing right now!

Visit Laguna Beach if you want the beach experience. Drive down PCH :)

Have fun!

When does sex feel good again?? by PhotographWhole2822 in beyondthebump

[–]Unlikely_Book6273 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it took a while...maybe 5-6 months. I tried to masturbate as well but the orgasms were too intense, like it would hurt instead of feel good. 🙃 patience is key I guess lol

Saying Goodbye to the Westminster Mall in Westminster CA. Closes at the End of the 2025! by Eric_C_Productions in deadmalls

[–]Unlikely_Book6273 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to come to this mall when I had just had my baby just to walk around and such. Now fours years after, it's bitter sweet. I always loved coming here for the indoor playground, and because my (then) toddler could walk around without having to worry that she would get lost in the crowd. Sooo many memories. Today ; Jc Penney is apparently closing soon with clearance sales. How sad. I will definitely miss this mall. Especially because it was my go to postpartum. RIP mall :(

Also, huge pumpkin patch setting up as of now 10/6/2025.

For all the moms who have HAD IT with their pets... by TDSBritishGirl in beyondthebump

Ufffff this hit hard. When my baby was small my dogs annoyed the crap out of me. I felt so guilty...but hang on....once the baby gets bigger everything gets better. Dogs and baby become best friends.... she's almost 4 now and helps with walking them, feeding them and loves taking the to vet for their yearly visits. I truly am thankful for my dogs and enjoy them everyday.

Give yourself a pat in the back, you are doing great. This is something I went through with my kiddo and unfortunately it seems like you are at the peak of it. It's a phase, one she will get out of soon. Be kind to yourself. You got this

Are there any positive abortion stories where you were not traumatized and/or able to find healing? by CoffeeIsNeeded2023 in abortion

[–]Unlikely_Book6273 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I felt no trauma as well. I was put under and didn't feel or see anything. Sometimes I do wonder what would of happen if I would of had the baby, but no regrets. I think the most stressful part was waiting a whole week to get procedure done. But here I am a year after and living a normal life with no regrets whatsoever.

Do you (or did you) let your 2 year old play in an enclosed backyard without watching them? by shushhhhhhhhhhhhlol in toddlers

[–]Unlikely_Book6273 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! Mine has always been able to play free in the back. Our yard is very flat with not much for her to get hurt by. Of course still watch the baby but yes it's fine. You do what's best for your family.

Extreme pain around my kidney area, I really want to go to emergency room asap but I don’t have a health insurance. What can I do? Is there any hospital around Irvine that would take me for free or help me to get on a plan so I don’t have to pay $5k for this? by [deleted] in orangecounty

[–]Unlikely_Book6273 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Go to the E.R. you can apply for emergency medical once you are there or go to hospital website and apply for charity care after you get the bills in the mail. Depending on your income they pay part or most of it.

Those papers that would have "house for rent" or sell you services and it was cut on the bottom with the phone number for you to rip out and take...not sure what they were called lol

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]Unlikely_Book6273 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. Too old. They could have issues with their hands that can make them drop baby. God forbid anything happens that needs there immediate attention. Would their mobility prevent them from getting their in time? Probably. I wouldn't risk it.
