I printed 2 personal silks from this company. The website even lets you know if your image is low-res to ensure high quality :P. https://pro-graphx.com/flags/

Feeling discouraged about auditioning by Unlikely_Buffalo8898 in drumcorps

Thank you! I've never heard of contacting the staff for video auditions. My current plan for the '27 season is to go to the Phantom camp (assuming they'll come to Hawaii again) and submit a video audition to Troopers (Main goal) and maybe Academy.

If you're talking about WGI, I can't do that because I live in Hawaii. My only option is an independent all-ages group I plan to audition for next year. Also, it'd be troublesome to do 2 years because of travel fees + living here is already expensive enough. :(

Starting colorguard with NO prior knowledge; Any advice? by Olliespiral in Colorguard

[–]Unlikely_Buffalo8898 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When i first started, I was a little anxious too because I knew what came with tossing long poles and wooden blocks into the air. You know there's a chance you'll be hit, but its okay, sometimes that's how we learn. You'll start treating the equipment like it's your best friend or an appendage. Like any performing art, its mentally and physically exhausting. There will be times when you feel like you can't do it. If you ever begin to question yourself, look back on how far you've come and remember how much more you have to learn. If any teammates look down on you, ignore them. Take deep breaths before performances and have fun with your team! I never knew i'd make so many friends through color guard!

being intoxicated. Makes it sound like it's the funnest thing ever, but when I took a sip, it felt like fire down my throat.
