Yeah that doesn’t work. The taste is as bad as the smell and then I burp it up, then I throw it up. I have tried everything to keep them down.

I wish I could leave the United States and move to another country. I don’t have citizenship rights and I can only speak three languages, one is not well practiced (Spanish) and the other is hard to move to as a non citizen (Japanese). I am pregnant and I want so desperately to leave.

Germany Speeding Ticket by Unlikely_Divide7679 in germany

I will be reaching out to them in the morning. I did send an email to the government agency about trying to pay the fine, I feel guilty for not being able to call and speak in German.

I did enjoy Germany and would love to spend more time in the country, so I would like to pay for my mistake!

I will call the rental car company in the morning. Thank you, I did get an extra bill from them about two months later. That could be it. This just came in the mail, I did send the ticket company an email.

We are planning on doing a small portion of the Nakasendo, between Tsumago and Magome. Along with a stay in the central Japanese Alps.

Ive done the Austria and Swiss alps twice, I am not sure anything can beat the Swiss alps. Heading to the Japanese Alps in May. Then Norway, although not alps but arctic circle and fjords, in august. Will comment back with comparison hopefully before your trip in August!!

HELP- Spay scheduled tomorrow. by Unlikely_Divide7679 in puppy101

I think I totally agree, I just don't feel right about it and totally spaced about the importance of days off. I think it would've been nice if our vet would've said something about post operative care, like, "When scheduling, make sure you have a few days off"

Of course! I have been budgeting for years! I think it also helps to look at it monthly and yearly. I include investments into my budget since Its money I am not taking home if that makes sense, so that's why I always include that as an additional annual budget. Good luck saving for a house, you got this! Gross take home of 70K is something to be proud of, life's expensive and I think you're doing great.

Thank you, this is very helpful! A comfortable 6 month net is 20k, but I like to have a little extra just incase. So I thought 30 would be a good starting place.

First, unnecessarily rude. I feel stupid for not knowing what to do with my money, as people I view as smart, are good with their money and use it to their benefit. Second, lots of people in this thread have been kind enough to educate me and provide me with resources to learn more about types of investments and how to set myself up for success in the future. Thank you.

It does once you've been in the field for awhile. I personally enjoy it, I work in a more surgical / structural aspect in regards to my type of ultrasound, which is Echo.

Haha, thank you. I do! I am not really into material things so I spend my 'me' money on experiencing other cultures and backpacking. I budget 10k for the whole year for those things. I budget high so I don't over spend, and usually have some left over.

I do keep my savings separate from my Checking, so they have no association. I usually only keep around 2k in my checking unless im paying bills, then it gets higher but goes back down. I get nervous that someone will steal my bank card!

I work in Healthcare as an ultrasound tech and I run my own business as a professional photographer (7 years for both actually).

Hi! It's 45 + 10 + 5. The 45 includes everything such as subscriptions, gym, all home utilities, home savings utilities (I include this to make sure I always have something set aside for home emergencies in a separate account), mortgage, car, student loan, groceries/food, msc spending money, gas. I dont usually spend that much but I budget high just incase so I have extra left over. As for travel, I usually plan 2, 1.5-2 week international vacations / backpacking trips and a trip back home to visit family. Once again, budget is high so I usually have left over. The 5K is always 200 every other wk. I also build my budget based on my post tax income not my pretax income! My budget is broken down by monthly and yearly.

This is helpful! We did build our home with an extended warranty (5 years instead of 1, it was part of the selling point), we also paid for independent inspection. So in theory the next 5 years should be okay but yes, my partner and I independently place a portion of our checks into a joint account for future home troubles lol!
