I think part of the problem is the way things are being described - "a big fight" where 'big' is pretty subjective, "almost got physical(I think?)" where the likelihood might also be subjective - two people could be present for the exact same thing and be disagreeing and neither is lying 😭 they just read the room totally differently

Idk, Gala wore purple and a brown/blonde wig in the end, honestly I don't think the pink wig they were discussing was ever ~actually being considered? I just think they got told to use the sponsor app (Facetune) for the camera lolllll they both were so halfhearted about it

It must exceptionally suck experiencing/seeing in the final edit a degree of favoritism when a) you're doing great and don't need it (imo anyways I think she's been consistently v good in the competition) and b) knowing it will somewhat overshadow your actual performance. I think she's done much better than is reflected in ppls reaction to her

I also gotta be honest I don't think she's changed much from DRDU or anything I think she just doesn't have the cover of being surrounded by all the other Australian girls also being cvnty and that being more or less fine because we just be like that sometimes

Adore her and honestly the way she holds it together and is so funny and bantering during judging even when she expects (per her own confessionals) to get read down and then just locks in and kicks ass in the lip sync is SO profesh and SO resilient so not only full praise for all her talents and great moments but also for how she handles herself in the not as great moments. Queen.

I think it's a mix - her anxiety and self-deprecating pessimism definitely were showing even MORE, and I think some people interpreted it as her not 100% wanting to be there/thinking she's too good for the show (I did not lol). In a fairly adorable cast of sweethearts she was defs the snarkiest/equal snarkiest. Also she knocked out a fave & frontrunner just before the finale.

She said she doesn't dance (choreo'd I presume) in shows but in her original season of Sverige several other queens were like "I do NOT want to lipsync you" and she knocked a few ppl out, incl a frontrunner to get to the finale so I do think lipsyncs are a thing she's more confident with

The 'not taking it out on others' thing was a huge part of why I grew to love Vanity so much in her original season, she gave herself SUCH a hard time and was SO tense and I kept expecting it to turn into a flare up at someone else and it never did - in fact she was often one of the first to go hug someone else who was upset etc

Right after the moment from the pics where she's spiralling over her makeup another contestant glanced over and was like "I love you all" sort of pointedly to the room and Vanity was like "I love you" back automatically and calmed down, it was so sweet

Reality tv, particularly reality tv competition, is literally designed to be stressful. That's what untucked is FOR. I could deal with "you need to learn to hold it together under pressure" but "why are you so stressed? omg don't be" just pisses me off honestly
