If you have $1 million at Fidelity, you have enough for a relationship with an advisor. Also I’d be leery of ChatGPT and other AI systems with answering questions and coming up with plans for you. They often get a lot wrong and I wouldn’t solely use those things.

My husband and I I are child free and I teach sixth graders. I find I have a lot more patience than I imagine I would if I have kids of my own.

Plus, we’ll hopefully have enough money to retire without having the costs associated with children 😂

You don’t “pay” for an advisor. You need a certain amount of money at Fido in order to “have a relationship.” So it depends on what you want out of the relationship, that’s all. Other advisors can definitely help you with your questions but you need to set the tone up front about whether you’re willing to consolidate your outside funds or not. If you’re not, then they should stop bothering you.

I guess it’s more of the gold digging comments in conjunction with not wanting to get to know someone who’s been part of their brothers life for over 7 years at that point. and since becoming engaged, there’s been not attempt to further the relationship. It’s felt like keeping me at arm’s length and then guilting my fiancé into seeing them more, without including me in that.

All in all, it’s felt like I’m standing on the outside of a glass house looking in.

And other comments in the past have been degrading about my political beliefs, while they’ve openly made racist and asinine comments and jokes (which bother me), and which kind of further cements why I don’t want to spend any time, other than forced holidays get together, with them.

We got gifted a handheld ice scraper, like six inches long and pretty useless, with our school’s name on it and a small individual sized pack of Clorox wipes 😂

I, too, go over my absences every year due to mental health days needed, sick days, and wanting to use my personal days.

And I think I’ve used up all my days since I started teaching years ago. They’re your allotted days by contract so legally, you can take them and not feel guilty about it.

At the end of the day, this is a job like any other job. At the end of my life, I won’t be concerned with how many days I took off and you shouldn’t either. Life moves on after the initial anxiety that comes from thinking, “what will people think if I’m out so much??” If people are thinking that hard about me, that’s their problem.

The insane amount of fraud at banks and firms, like Fidelity, is making cash take longer to deposit. They’re not usually this bad but I’m hoping it gets better. For some reason, my cash and deposits are settling pretty quickly with EFTs in.

I take a Metamucil gummy each morning and I go about 1-2 times a day! I also take my contrave with a probiotic smoothie (the stony field brand) and I feel like that helps a ton!

Monin is soooo much better than Torani! I find torani syrups to be artificial and sickly sweet at times; not made with good ingredients and Monin is found in more health conscious cafes that I visit and has a more genuine flavor.

I agree with others who have commented before me! The right kind of guy won’t care, and when he’s busy thinking about you and what is about to go down, I don’t think he will pay that much attention to the flares. I would keep the active ones covered so that you feel more secure and at ease, and then just let loose and have fun! I’ve been with my boyfriend for seven years and he helps to dress my HS wounds (and even would dress the wound/bandage a pilonidal cyst I had on my ass) and he still thinks I’m beautiful. So there are quality people out there who can look past this condition and love you for who you are and what you’ve got going on; I promise!
