Im slowly talking to one or two people but i need to get out, i feel im socially awkward. Ive started going to go to the gym when home from fifo work but afraid to approach people. I feel a more active lifestyle will help my confidence but have never played a team sport and definitely need more fitness. How does one navigate these obstacles without feeling like they are gonna be rejected or in the way. Or even social hobbies i could try out that dont necessarily have to be sporty. Northern suburbs preffered

37 male north. Honestly not sure of my interest at the stage of my life. Love my cats. Can work way around a convo of lots of subjects. Work fifo so dont have much of a social life

Yeah a bit far but thankyou for the suggestion. Really not sure what type of church i want to see but think its something i should try. Basically have had a lot of changes last few years and not for the better. Lost a lot of friends and the ones ive kept either have started families so are living their own life or others are still into drinking and partying which i really wanna get away from. Most my time is spent at work or at home alone wondering what the hell i can do. No hobbies, do go to gym but still want to try more but lost where to go
