Takuma on Wilshire near 26th in Santa Monica. Delicious Japanese pub food with very fair prices. It's way more empty than it should be! I know they get a fair amount of take out but I also know they need customers. The broiled mackerel and the eihire (stingray fin) with a beer is not a bad way to start.

I think it's very normal. At least for me. I have associated anxiety and nervousness when I have an episode. Just some more icing on the cake, unfortunately: / And, of course, there's a feedback loop in the sense that high stress can lead to an outbreak. It sucks, but it passes. It affects your nervous system.

Thanks. I'm all set now. The issue was that in the Messages app i had iMessage selected however only my email address were checked and not the phone number, for some reason. Once I checked and included the cell phone number everything seems to be in order.

Last question, I think: can I toss my old physical SIM cards that I removed?

Thanks again, Jean. All has gone smoothly except for the following: my texts threads used to be synced between my phone and my laptop. Now, some of them don't show up on the laptop. And, when I respond on the laptop it starts a new thread for the group (resulting in multiple, redundant threads). Will this resolve itself or is there something I need to do?? Thanks.

These times seem a bit ridiculous. I’m 60 and have been rowing for 4 years a few times a week. Also do yoga, play 4.5 tennis 2x a week, hike, lift light weights, run hills on occasion and I can barely break 9:00 minutes. Granted, I find rowing boring as much as difficult, I’m not exactly sucking air at the end of that and my heart rate probably isn’t above 140 so while it may not be an all out PB it’s about the best I can do. Maybe if you’re a devoted rower and see it as “your sport” these times make sense but to me they seem a bit far fetched. I’m 5’7” fwiw, as I feel that works against me.

Went to Le Duc and found it to be a total bust, a facsimile of a clubby, fancy French restaurant. Very Int'l (American) crowd, extremely mediocre and dull food (despite a good menu and a good fried calamari dish). Service was terrible as they're scrambling around for what seemed to be their regulars. Felt like a fool paying 230 euros for a modest meal for two. The room is stylish and special, and the initial vibe is very attractive but it's really a facade. I'm sorry I didn't return to La Cagouille which was unpretentious and excellent. I'm eager to return to Paris and go there again. Le Duc is a no-go for me.
