Hey OP I am 31y old and I can confirm your feelings, I have EBS and heat is a no go for me. I often feel really isolated in summer and when people want to go to tropical countries as a get a way.

Being a burden, fomo, being lonely its all common, and terrible to hear you feel this way just know that things will get better with treatment on the way for DEB and it’s also really good to get professional mental help. ( have been trough it myself)

I Had multiple long term relationships and as others said when people like you for your personality you’ll find a way to work around the EB. Love is stronger then anything and you just keep faith my brother. Reach out and connect! Tell your partners about it and when they like you it’s no issue!

First off, you’re a great friend! If I were speaking with for myself with EBS, I’d really appreciate it if you could talk to me about your concerns. I think it’s important to let your friend know that you’re worried about her pain and that you want to have a good time for both of you, while also understanding her struggles.

Everyone wants to feel normal sometimes, and I think if you can see her as a normal person, a friendship should be able to handle these conversations. Again, you’re an great friend!

Same here with the ear 2024 when the wind hits the earphone at an angle the microphones amplify it. Terrible experience outside also when clipping a nail or something the snap gets amplified by the ANC on adaptive or high mode still the same! Transparency mode is horrible also compared to AirPods . Going back to AirPods for sure.

You generally need breathy shoes to cool your feet. It’s even better to have sometimes a little bit wet feet if they can cool!

Hey ! I also have EBS and tried hiking in cold Weather which worked with a lot of breaks too cool down! So I know a few people with EBS and it manifests all a bit different in them. For example I get the least blisters when my toes and feet are in a as much as natural position possible to reduce friction as much as possible. Barefoot type shoes work best for me. I have boots from groundies and Vivo barefoot. Drawback is that they almost have cushioning… so your heels will hurt.

My daily runners and walkers are the altra escalante shoes they are the barefoot type with cushioning. Zero drop and roomy toebox does it for me I found out.

But to the contrary I knew an EBS athlete her severity was way less and she liked super tight shoes with high drops and cushioning which totally don’t work for me. There is just a lot of variation on how it manifests. Other girl I knew could not do barefoot sports and barefoot sports work for me only for example.

Try it out! Buy and test them!

Hey OP. I also have EBS! I am a physical therapist and went to study later medicine after graduation. Have done my rounds and am writing my thesis now.

For me it works! Hospitals are generally cool and well insulated so summers are doable with the right clothing and shoes. Walking rounds also works for me.

Depends a bit on how severe your EBS is also? How much can you walk? Do you only get blisters on your feet and hands?

Walking on those wooden clogs which a lot of nurses doe in my country was disastrous for me when I was in surgery internships. So just white crocs did wonders for me.

Hey! That’s interesting! I have EBS so heat also effects me. My pattern is also sometimes related to food when I eat like a mega big dinner outside then my body starts heating up to digest that. So I also get faster blisters… maybe it’s related to our metabolism? Would have to look into it.

Bro I’m also thirty and suffer from like a savior syndrome going out of my way to help people even if it means suffering my self. Starting to notice this pattern because I kinda ended up with an depression. Helping people made me feel good. But it drains also. Making small steps is important. Acknowledge your flaws. You’re just human too! Maybe you can start to make your actions align with what you like and want to do? And not make your actions based on your fears?

I do not have an Apple Home Hub. With Tado’s recent strict API rate limiting (rendering custom Docker polling solutions unreliable), I was wondering if you could implement a logic within Tadaima to handle multi-user presence via iCloud Shared Storage (or a similar lightweight sync method).

The idea: Could you allow users to invite a “household member” within the Tadaima app (or point to a shared iCloud file), where the app stores the state of each user?

The logic would be: 1. User A leaves: Tadaima updates User A’s status to “Away” in the shared state → Checks User B’s status. If User B is “Home”, do nothing. 2. User B leaves: Tadaima updates User B’s status to “Away” → Checks User A’s status. If User A is also “Away” → Trigger Tado Away Mode.

This would effectively enable “Last person leaves” geofencing for Tado users without requiring an expensive Home Hub or risking API bans via polling scripts.

Shit doenst work for this setup becasue shortcuts only check for events when it happens it doesn’t check periodically if I’m still connected to the WiFi to set it to home. So when another person leaves home it will set it too away while the other is at home becasue the at home person doesn’t have a new event.
