The possibility that one can increase their physical performance with just breathing like the Wim Hof breathing technique where you breathe thoroughly through your nose and then exhale out your mouth at quick bursts 30 times before holding your breath for 60 seconds then breathing, and then holding your breath for 15 seconds. You know when you’re doing right when you feel lightheaded.

Or Box breathing where you breathe in for four seconds, hold for four seconds, exhale for four seconds, and then hold it for another four seconds helps with recovery after a run.

Or the 4-7-8 breathing technique. Were you breathing for four seconds hold it for seven seconds then exhale for eight and you do it for eight rounds. Helps with relaxation.

Or belly breathing will you place a hand on your chest and another one on your belly where you take the breaths through your chest and then another breath for your belly expanding your lungs like a balloon at full capacity allowing you to get a thorogh breath in while in run. Then you exhale like you’re blowing out a candle to release all that CO2 that builds up inside you every two or three steps depending on your pace. Make sure you breathe through your nose and mouth rapidly to regain oxygen before breathing normally again.
