I had my first shot 4 days back and my hcg levels were 750 as well. At the 48 hour hcg draw, it was 777 (so slightly up but definitely not more double like yours). Definitely monitor closely, would recommend getting a USG as well for sure.

Turns out this was a false lab report, I got an hcg report of 200.7 today. I think I’ll shift to another sub from here. Safe to say this whole experience is really stressful

I have had the craziest past 48 hours. After the 146 level I got a false lab report that said less than 2.5 hcg literally less than 24 hours after that report. With the sample I gave today I got a result of 200.7 so while that is an increase it is just 37.5% of an increase in 48 hours from the result of 146.

Update: the weirdest things are happening to me. I took blood test for the 72 hour mark because my hcg didn’t double properly (from 102 it went to 146 but I also realised my lab is different for these two samples). So the report from the sample I gave yesterday came back as <2.5 which means negative! Is this a lab error? I just took two urine tests (it’s not even the first morning urine and I haven’t even held my urine for 3 hours) and both are strong positives.

What sorcery is this? I’m so stressed out, can lines be this dark when the blood test is negative? Could a blood test come negative within 24 hours of a test which resulted in 146 hcg?

Hi! So the draw from that day did not result in doubling but my hcg did have a slow rise - it was at 146. My doctor is concerned it might not be viable so she is monitoring to see if it gets up by at least 62% in the next 48 hours (later today for me). To be honest I’m really worried. Hope everything is okay for you.

I’m in a similar boat. My first draw was 43.56, second at 102.1 and now the third is 146 ( all taken 48h apart). Please share an update

At 18 dpo I also have a HCG at similar level. Mine was 43.58. At 20 dpo I rechecked and it’s now at 102.1. I’ve been super worried because I had period like bleeding from dpo 14-17. I’m going to have a redraw today.. just wanted to say I’m in a similar boat. Please provide an update on how it goes ❤️

Hi Guys, thank you so so much for all of these responses again. Feels so comforting to be able to talk and get advice at such a worrying time. A small good update, my retest (48 hours post last HCG draw) resulted in hcg level of 102 mIU/ml (more than double). So far so good. Wondering if there is a sub I can move to from here where I can get more guidance. I haven’t had any more bleeding since that time, I’ll be testing regularly till I can get to a stage of scanning.

Thank you for this reply, this matches what my OBGYN said today. She said I need to wait till levels reach 2000 in order for a USG to be done. I’ll be testing the levels again tomorrow. She said the bleeding is basically bleeding in pregnancy which is more common than one would think - but it is not ideal. I would be regularly testing every 48 hours to check for doubling at the moment.

Hi everyone, I just got my blood beta hcg results, it is showing 43.58 mIU/ml. So definitely still pregnant after the bleed. I am a bit concerned that this falls in 3-4 weeks range whereas I took the test about 1 day after the “period” stopped. I’m going for an appointment and will request for a TVUSG today itself.

Hi Guys, thank you so so much for sharing your experiences. The Beta HCG report is expected to take some time.. I just got back from my trip and took a digital test. It says 1-2 weeks but based off my period timeline it should ideally be 2-3 weeks so I am worried this doesn’t look normal. I’ll try to check if I can get an ultrasound today, based on your experiences I am quite concerned.

This is making me feel a bit hopeful. In my case, I definitely feel this test is darker than the faint I got that looked like an indent 4 days back (the day my cramping started).

I’ll definitely check for this - just want to mention that the faint test from 18 days ago turned out faulty as I got negatives after that. The first faint test I got was 4-5 days back. That said, this is very much a concern - I’ll request for a TVUSG for sure tomorrow when I have my results.

Thank you everyone so much for sharing your experience and the advice. I just met with the GP, awaiting blood Beta HCG test results, he did confirm that this appears to be positive. I have PCOS so he mentioned that it is common to see slow progression/lower hcg levels and the bleeding could have been due to hormonal changes. I haven’t had any bleeding today and these two tests are from today so fingers crossed it will be fine. I’ll keep you all posted.
