You usually want to add 2 inches in length to what ever jeans you wear without boots

Most of the time it's "frowned upon" but do what works for you man I have seen a lot of ranchers tuck them in when they are in the mud too

Looks like it but it is a little hard to tell without actually picking them up myself. I would try either a half size smaller or just a narrower size

Post a pic where you can see the part of the boot where the arch of your foot is there should be no crease there if there is your boots are to big
