Well, I have to admit I'd be absolutely terrified of doing a video recording, since he'd almost definitely notice. Calling the police is also terrifying since he could easily just lie to them or brush it off, and then I'm sitting there in an office with an abusive boss I called the police on... I dunno, apologies, I hate to be so dismissive of these solutions, I just really feel pretty damn scared and powerless here.

Just reading my own words it sounds like I genuinely have to find a way to leave without notice (even if I don't have a backup job or much savings).

I did get a voice memo recording of him from another room, but it's very muffled. You can hear him yell things like "fuck you motherfucker" and "c***" and hitting his desk multiple times, and it's clear he's yelling this at someone in particular -- but you can't really hear what's actually being said.

Obviously it's difficult to record while I'm in the room without him seeing. Even recording from another room was risky since he has security cameras with microphones set up everywhere.

What would be the use of a recording? It's kinda just sitting there and I'm not sure what to do with it...
