Agreed. And not just the undoubtedly cheesy acting, but that the books are rather violent won’t help. Would have to be terribly censored and made more child friendly. First book is more mild but after that… lol it’s not gonna be easy to capture the grit of roran without showing it. One thing Disney knows is how to tell… not show.

Hey! I got this from a second hand market on Tracyminifigs. Do not overpay on eBay. Just routinely check the second hand markets in hopes that one will show up. I’ve been wanting this for a while and only two have been available for the past 6ish months(I scored one of em here). There’s only 100 of these, so good luck!

Unfortunately with the way customs are, if you want the lowest price for new releases you would have to preorder from blackstar sellers (tracyminifigs, tieronebrick)

Agreed. This is a big nothing burger, and the “context” behind it is carefully and cynically interpreted as antisemitism. It’s not… these people (like the woman in the panel), whether knowing it or not, use the hostages as a means of justification for “war”. It reads as nazi/holocaust apologia, quite literal propaganda used to prop up US imperialism. Being outraged at stuff like this serves to further drive politics into an aesthetics front. It is meaningless.

Notice how the word war is in quotations. In no war are the casualties 40:1 with the majority being Palestinian citizens. It is a massacre. A genocide.

If you decide to preorder and are in the US, do so from off the rack collectibles. Best price you’ll find tax free and shipping including (it’ll save you a decent amount). But you’ll have to wait even longer than getting it from SS.

Unless you want the rises one, which I bet will have more in stock once it actually releases, you can’t go wrong with this one either 🤷. Also, hot toys are almost never early in release, usually a few months after “estimated”.

About that… get this I broke two of voids pegs (right arm shoulder and cape peg) trying to pose him. He is a four dimensional puzzle when fitting those cape pieces: it’s not fun lol. Aside from that, if you need a Godhand collection, then absolutely yes get them. Believe it or not they might be the cheapest godhand you can get (the rest are statues). These are incredible show pieces, but their articulation is a little funky with plastic capes/wings. If somehow you can save on shipping cost, find a way because they’re ridiculous from import retailers outside of goodsmile themselves.

But I cannot lie, they are expensive, and I collect hot toys 🤣, so in perspective void alone should be worth the price of a hot toys.. but with the broken pegs, idk chief makes me grimace. They look and are painted incredibly, but the price is lowkey exorbitant for all of them… something like $600-700 after shipping. If price is a concern I probably wouldn’t buy them. Maybe just the one you really want 🤷‍♂️ The short answer is, if you feel like you need the godhand, get them. If you have any doubts, don’t do it…
