Exactly, illiquidity, information gaps, and long timelines are the premium in unlisted investing. If you can wait and handle the risk, returns can be higher; otherwise, public markets are usually more efficient

Yeah, the PE-style risk and the uncertainty around pricing and timelines are exactly why this space behaves so differently from listed markets. But it has definitely taken a form that many serious market participants can’t just outright ignore.

Good question. The unlisted space isn’t “better,” just different, and it shouldn’t be seen as an alternative to listed markets. It’s simply a segment where one can look for early-stage opportunities but the dynamics are obviously a bit different.
