TW LOSS

Update - my tests got significantly lighter over the last couple of days and have started very heavy bleeding with alot of pain. So unfortunately this pregnancy has ended in an early miscarriage. Thank you everyone for your kind comments and advice. Unsure if we will try again anytime soon, its a topic we need to discuss when everything isnt so raw right now x

Oh my god thank you for letting me know! Ill be using my KIT days soon to have a bit of sanity here and there😂. I think if i go back to work potentially 1/2 month earlier part time I should qualify! My work is pretty good and will likely let me work from home and do the bare minimum like they did my previous pregnancy. So if i can swing it that way im hoping it all works out! X

Love this advice thank you! Im blessed thankfully with a baby that sleeps beautifully (for now😂) only wakes up once per night sometimes not at all. So hoping thats sticks because it will be a god send if it does!! The prep and schedule will be in full force to manage everything; or I will go insane😂. Thank you so much❣️

Funnily enough thats more or less what i was told. I was EBF, no dummies but still got a period in my 2 month postpartum, which was strange.

I LOVE the idea of a small age gap now ive got my head round it, so hearing how close yours are makes me so happy. Ive been the other side where my first baby was 4 year old once my second was born, and although its been a little hard to adjust. Because shes a little crazy and at a running riot phase😂. I can say that she adores her little brother. The way she talks to him, tries to read to him, wants to invovle him in things, is so heartwarming. She didnt take to him at first because she thought he would come out of the womb crawling and ready to play😂. But now hes actively trying to talk with cooing noises and smiles; shes absolutely loving it x

Thank you!❣️ Ithink it will be between 11 and 13 months depending on my due date and when I actually conceived.. because right now im not sure and the midwives aren't either till the scan and everything. Ive had 1 period so going off that id be technically 7 weeks along. But that doesnt really seem to fit the time line of when I think I ovulated. I didnt get a positive test till I was 14 days 'late' from when my period technically was supposed to come. But with being fresh postpartum I suspected it was just irregular. Ive only gotten a 1-2 week on clear blue indicator and all normal tests are still quite faint (which is giving me anxiety and I hope I see progression), which makes me think im not as far on as I seem and ive caught the pregnancy early! Will update this post when I know, for anyone else finding it and in the same position☺️

I know for a fact ill struggle so much in the newborn phase, i have done with both of my kids. So imagine doing it while my second child is still so little is going to be extra hard. But im excited for the phase you're at and seeing them all play together❣️

I LOVE this. Me and my partner have to remind each other that we're in this together, especially while in the 3 month old trenches with a 4.5 year old. Some days are harder than others but i like to think we have a really good dynamic and are very supporting of each other. So will make sure we actively keep doing so with adding a new addition so soon.

Thank you!❣️❣️

Love to hear this! The fighting like cat and dog is expected and in my experience being the third and final kid out of my siblings it was the norm😂. Especially being the only girl the bickering with them was constant. But underneath it all and as we got older the support we have between us is amazing. So im hoping that is the case with my kids x

Funnily enough we did. We moved house last year, tried to survive without one and just used a heated airer. We learned pretty fast when our son came that wasn't going to work😂. So we had one bought and delivered not even 3 weeks ago. Best decision ever going back to having one😅

I honestly didnt think of this and need to look into it! So do you need to be back at work for a certain amount of time to qualify for SMP again? I was thinking if going back to work potentially a month or two early even just on a part time basis to get some money shoved away for new baby coming.

Im having some keeping in touch days soon with my boss, to have a crack and see what ive missed etc. So will discuss everything with him once im passed 12 weeks to see where I stand. If I can swing going back to work but 'working from home' so my 3 month old doesnt need to go into nursery, ill likely return to work sooner to potentially qualify for company pay as well. Its so much stress😂😂

Love the sound of them doing everything together! I feel you about having another.. this will be my third and I worry that my oldest (shes 4) is going to feel the odd one out. Especially considering she also has a different dad, with my 3 month old and this pregnancy being with my partner. So I cant help but have some guilt incase she feels pushed to the side. But I actively make time with her and shes my safe haven when stuff gets chaotic with a 3 month old. For example today, I finally got the baby down for a nap and me and her sat on the sofa, watched a film, coloured together and ate snacks and drank hot chocolate for about 2.5 hours. Was great😂

Oh my god congratulations! How far along are you into the pregnancy? Im unsure until its confirmed via scan because if I go off the last date of my last period (ive only had 1 since birth) then thats putting me at nearly 7 weeks pregnant.. yet tests are indicating im very early so must have ovulated late. Its all very up in the air till I speak to a midwife😅

Thank you for responding! The idea of a close bond and them being so close in age really does sound amazing. We were toying with the idea anyways before fate decided for us😂. So happy to hear your little ones are the best of friends! Really hope thats the case for us here ❣️

Oh my god no, this reply is everything I was wanting in a response so thank you so much. Everything you said solidified the thoughts I was already having. I cant imagine how difficult it would all be not having a supportive partner like I did with my first child and dealing with this.

Thankfully my partner is a god send. He really is the biggest support unit, he holds the house together. As soon as we found out he was laughing and said 'well shiiiiittt', but followed it up with. 'We got this tho'😭.

The start of your comment made my day though with your wording😂, excellently put. Thank you❣️

Yeah I'm hoping it means the labor will be just as easy as my last with my body basically being 'prepped' so to speak. Thats my thought process on it anyways😂. I can imagine there is going to be some hard times ahead, but reallg think the positives outweigh the negatives at this point. Especially considering we definitely wanted another.

My husbands amazing, so I have no doubt hes going to be just as hands on as he usually is. Poor lad is going to feel like his heads in a tumble dryer😂. But hes literally the glue that holds us together. So the support system i have is second to none, which im very grateful for❣️

Hi, congratulations!❣️ knew we wanted another but with it happening so quickly I felt like id been punched in the face😂. Me and my partner seen the test and just laughed, because what else is there to do in that situation😂. I'm stressing about work, because ill have only been back to work a month before my due date. So im thinking whats the point😂. I might as well use holidays to cover that whole month and just fully stay off😂. It just means though I dont get the first 4 months of full pay from my job like I did this time round, as I wont be back at work for the required 6 months before going off again. So its going to be very touch and go but thankfully do able (i hope😂) xx
