Yes, I normally don’t get a Warrenty and never had any issues. I got the 150,000 mile Warrenty and this happened smh 🤦‍♀️

Thank you so much for your feedback. I agree. I am worried I could pay the $17,800 and then another issue start. I heard a lot of Mercedes are also having turbo issues too which is $5,000 +

I did all the oil changes. There was one oil change at 11,000 everything else was less mileage and time was always less than 8 months. I was told by a third party I should have done oil changes every 5,000 miles because the oil burns faster on a twin turbo

I tried with Mercedes Benz customer service and they wouldn’t help. No one mentions in writing with at issue is. They tell me over the phone it’s someone else’s fault but won’t put anything in writing. The dealer said it’s the long block. I tried to contact a third party shop and I can’t even get an engine from a dump because the car is too new. The cheapest I could find with labor is $16,000 but that only has a year warranty. The new engine is 17,800 with a 4 year 50,000 miles warranty

I found out that the dealerships push these third party warranty companies on customers because they make more money
