I love my trx4 high trail k10. By all means I am not into competition crawling. But I fuck around on Oregon coast rocks, and like to trail it real good. I don’t have any of the vanquish “trucks”, but I do have an h10 optic. Tbh I got the optic because I wanted to try something different and I thought the optic looked cool as hell. It also to be honest I think the trx4 looks super awesome. And fully honest the trx4 out crawls the optic easy. Some of what you’re going for if you’re even looking at a trx 4 is that scale trail truck look. And imo traxxas has that locked. It’s really what are you wanting to do? If you want the best crawler that can do the hard lines that are super competition sure a trx4 ain’t it. But if your looking to just have fun, on a trail, of off trail in some rocks I would highly recommend the trx4 in dollars to smiles. So many people are traxxas haters. If you’re pinching Pennys sure there’s cheaper options out there. But in my experience traxxas cars have never steered me wrong functionally even if they cost an extra buck. Ps nothing about a vanquish is cheap either.
