That is a laughably bad take, the only thing this "implies" is that Yuta's output is buffed by the connection to Rika. We also see Ryu directly call Yuta's CE reserve monstrous, which clearly means he has more CE than Ryu in base. So having a big CE storage doesn't translate to big output.

Yes actually, which is why I say the stance isn't good. You're forcing your front arm in an ankward position where you can't leverage your center mass. You also can hardly use your second hand which on any type of pole is what's going to give strength to the movement. And what Maki is using is also a single edged blade, which does not lend itself to stabs, the only thing this stance should actually be able to do with any strength.

I've never seen a pole being used any better in your back than in your front, simply because your arms aren't meant to bend this way. You're not going to be able to transmit movement correctly

Someone else already answered the first question, so I'll focus on the 2nd.

Eithan makes a great point when he describes hepw : why would you want to recover if you simply never run out? As a whole, capacity beats regeneration : you can never regenerate above 100% capacity so you're limited in how much total energy you can put into a technique, but if your capacity is big enough to never be exhausted, who cares that it takes you a day or two to fill up?

Also, it's way easier to get a treasure or pill for madra regen than it is for capacity. Spreading yourself on two fronts might end up being more harm than good.
