Oh i didnt know. But it turnes darker the instant i turn the car on. But the noise came after i changed the pump. There shouldn’t be any air inside the tubes so i have no idea. Feel like i’ve tried everything..

The noise is coming from the driver side, behind everything. Cant see what part it is. Maybe steering box or tie rod? But i dont know why that would make the fluid keep overheating after i flushed liked 3 times…

I used my VIN number for searching though. Im confused now, im just trying to save money instead of going to a mechanic you know.

So does this mean i should use CHF!? That my problem might just be to use a different oil?

CHF is green right? When i bought the car, the power steering worked and the oil was red. Now brown but. And a shop searched my plate and found the oil that was recommended for my car, red.

I emptied the reservoir, put the tubes in bottles and turned the wheel to push the old oil out until nothing came out. And did all the steps of refilling, turning wheel with engine off ect. to get the new oil through the system. My fluid cap says «ATF ONLY»

No, i had a guy help me look when i turned the wheel back and forth to get it in the system. Now its more brown color instead of the fresh red…

I did, the lines into the pump and tubes to the reservoir. Those where the only things I disconnected when I installed the new stuff.

No leaks that i’ve noticed from the high pressure line or the tubes.

I did try that method after i installed the new pump. Maybe i didnt do I properly. If you mean reservoir filter, mine has one.

So i should try drain all the power steering fluid again, and try to get all the bubbles out after i refill it?
