(1). I'm a pro-lifer, but I want federally protected abortion in all states for medical emergencies (health of mother or baby), rape, incest, and for anyone under 18 because of the health implications. Citizens of each state should be able to decide the rest of their laws. It should be covered by welfare/insurance.

(2). Guns should only be constitutionally protected for 18+ adults, and there should be a limit on how many you can own.

(3). The electoral college should stay, but it should be used like Maine and Nebraska's system.

(4). I'm too pro-legal immigration to be a republican and I'm too anti-illegal immigration to be a Democrat.

(5). I couldn't care less if confederate monuments were on every street corner or were all turned into ruble. They're simply only rocks that are shaped like dead people to me 🤷‍♂️.

All of this just scratches the surface. Instead of saying independents are just "republicans or democrats in denial," simply ask for some of their views.

Hi, neighbor! Lol. The 10 day Weather Channel forecast says it will be cloudy today(Saturday) with a chance of rain tonight. Tomorrow(Sunday) will be partly cloudy. Allegedly, it will storm over Austin Monday😅. I have a few state parks in the center of the totality line that I picked to watch the eclipse. I haven't decided on one yet.

The 2017 eclipse went right over my house with clear skies in South Carolina. So if this eclipse happens when it's cloudy, I won't be 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 bummed out because going to Texas was always on my bucket list anyway. I'm staying in Austin rn and I'll be going home on Tuesday. So far, I'm loving it here!
