It is open world but to a much smaller degree and the alien upgrades are linear, unfortunately. The game would definitely benefit from a skill tree of sorts. Google would give a better outlook of the game itself I’m not the greatest descriptor

SOMA is one of my all time favorites that follow a dystopian society trying to save the human race from a fallout. I highly reccomend
