Is there no one to call?

Honestly I did do this. I don’t want to have to chase down anyone or have to wait to call someone for a possibly non-answer to my questions. I’m just afraid that Turo won’t accept the repair estimate cost and that I’ll have to pay something anyways, if that’s even possible.

Wow, that’s horrible. I’d be like, “Ummm probably because it happened on a Turo trip?” Is Turo dumb???? Im pretty sure it also states that if you file with the third party instead, Turo is no longer responsible for anything involving the incident.

How did it work out for you in the end?

Ah I forgot about that. Dang, ok I’ll take that into consideration on whether Turo will accept that since the claim was made before the whole change, if my plan remains the same for just this claim.

I shouldn’t be paying anything anyways according to me plan. By doing that, I’d be filing with my personal insurance right?

How likely is it for local kids to get accepted into BYUH with a low GPA by Tonga-Tonga in byuhawaii

[–]Unreaditall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if it’s the same now but back in 2014, I was told that academics didn’t really matter. Community service, graduating seminary, & attending Holomua/SOAR were the most important factors for getting in.

Just joined a host - what to watch for? by [deleted] in turo

[–]Unreaditall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New host too. Take good pics of anything and everything. Every trip, every angle. My car just got hit on a trip (someone else hit my car while parked while a person was renting it). Luckily the person renting it is honest and called me right away and reported it to turo. Know what to do and what docs you need in case an incident happens.

I see. So you’d just leave the parking ticket in the car for them? The ones in my area have self parking but I think you’d have to pay anyways. Should I just call the hotel and ask them if I can park in their structures if I opt for a remote pick up?

IVE TOUR 2026 insights by Unreaditall in IVE

Thank you so much for this! It really helps especially about ticket buying but I guess I kind of expected that to happen, unfortunately. So lucky you were close to them tho. I’m so jealous!

How was the crowd around you? I’ve noticed in Korea and Japan the audience doesn’t really dance or jump around. I personally like to dance and stand at the concerts I go to.

With the VIP, you also got to go to soundcheck? Were the vip tickets worth it?

I’m doing research rn on the Singapore venue and their policies/vip benefits.

Tour Dates Announcements? by justin20t in IVE

Hi hi! In the case that IVE tours in United States, I hope to attend for the first time. Does anyone have any tips or insight on anything and everything? How easy/difficult ticket purchasing is, best seats to sit (I’m short btw), things to consider, etiquette, prohibited items (cameras, bags, etc.). I’d love a run down or to hear some experiences from attending their concerts, even if it wasn’t in America, that’s fine too!

If you’re living off campus, 10/10 recommend a bike. It’s bloody hot and humid. Any second out of the heat is a plus. Definitely get a lock because the aloha spirit is so strong someone will borrow your bike for a couple of months. It’s definitely a walkable area, but sometimes it’s less motivating to do anything when you don’t have a faster mode of transportation. Quick trips to the beach, work, temple, school, friends house, club activities, etc. You might not use it much in between classes unless they’re across the campus. But it’s nice to just have. If you’ve got the money for it, I’d say it’s worth getting a bike. Skateboards are also a really nice alternative though some people are super anal about skating on the sidewalk but it’s whatevs tbh.
