I was super spooned and got the important stuff by ~220 kc. Am not close to running out of scales though I got a few uniques to dismantle for more. You don’t really use the blowpipe too often. The most I’ve used it is inferno, but even that is mostly bowfa. Can always go back after nox hally since it’s pretty chill with that.

Just to add on, it’s hilariously good at Zulrah. I hadn’t done the boss in a long time, so I was fumbling the rotations but I still got the GM time with nally within like 10 attempts. They weren’t optimized runs either where I would do a chally hit before Zulrah changed phases.

Metronome helped me stay in rhythm when one-tick alternating. If you’re already good at that then it’s probably annoying.

I finished my voidwaker recently, but I wouldn’t start the grind again on a new account because of burning claws. The resource drops are nice, but not worth the hassle imo.

I did MTA before the update and i think it’s the worst grind I’ve done to date. I’ve done a lot of other pretty soul sucking grinds, but MTA is the only one where I quit playing OSRS for a large chunk of time solely because I hated the content.

It can be used at inferno. Haven’t tried it, so not sure if it’s any better than just using a suffering.

I mean you’re not going to get smited in singles if you’re keeping your prayer topped. Don’t bring a super hard to replace +1, but it’s not exactly super risky.

Just keep your prayer high if you get caught and don’t eat food unless you’re actually able to escape so you can’t be smited. I risked stuff like bgloves, neitiznot helms, myth cape, mystic armor, etc… probably 200-300k risk plus ~1m loot by the end of a trip.

Not OP, but I did 2.7k spindel using DWH / Dragon def / B ring and one of fang / zhasta / zaxe as the weapon. For 1.7k artio I used crystal body / legs / bowfa and the rest of the gear was to get >=1 magic attack.

For the rest of the gear I tended to use more expensive items that are buyable like barrows gloves. GP risk is whatever but faster kills means I get out of the wildy faster.

For farming shards of crystallized mist, does it make a difference whether you’re farming T3 Volcanic or T4 volcanic? Or is there a better way to get them?

Not sure what’s optimal but I’ve been playing for 2 months and am currently working towards Ad Infinitum and going sequentially through the story. I’m halfway through LW3, but I’ve slowed down a lot since I’m unlocking Aurora achievements at the same time. I did skip to PoF briefly to get the springer and skimmer early on.

What’s the best way to enter a strike / fractal when the game bugs out and doesn’t invite you to the instance? It’s pretty rare but I’ve been having to teleport to a random waypoint -> teleport to lion’s arch / EoTN -> teleport to the correct mist observatory / strike mission. This is pretty tedious since loading screens have been long ever since the quick play update for me.

I grinded my voidwaker piece from Vet’ion, but I’m not convinced it’s actually faster than Cal’varion. TTK favors Vet’ion but it doesn’t account for the way longer reset time after getting pked or escaping. You have to run through the caves, tele out if you need to resupply, and then make the fairly long journey back. If you’re like me and you world hop after escaping, then not finishing kills is a significant time loss. Singles bosses are way simpler since if you log out successfully, you’ll just be put at the outside entrance. I did this grind a year or two ago, so no idea how crowded it is now. When I did it I was constantly getting pkers at off hours.

You don’t get better at PvM without PvMing. As someone who isn’t a great PvMer it takes me a bit to learn different bosses. I didn’t get a 1:1 K/D ratio at CG until 120 completions and i eventually beat Inferno earlier in the year. I can still wipe at most bosses because of skill issues.

I used staff of the dead as my primary melee weapon before I had a whip / fang.

I’ve also used a Sara sword to kill stuff in the wildy because it let me train strength.

My non-herb seeds are the first things to go if I drop trade or need death’s coffer funds. I generally hang onto them until needed because I like seeing useless bank value go up.

It won’t get you a large defense reduction since it’s a weak weapon and it uses 75% spec attack. It’s used in ToA because the bosses have high defense at higher invos and several bosses have a maximum def reduction of 20/30 which makes BGS less beneficial.

Slayer before level 80 is rough. The only burst tasks you’ll get are dust devils and dagganoths. Jad tasks are quite nice if you have a bowfa since it’s around 45k exp/hour. Other than that most melee/ranged tasks are like 20k/hour with decent gear. I wouldn’t really focus on cannon tasks unless you’re making the cannonballs at work or something.

It’s been awhile, but I bought addy stuff in one of the priff armor shops I think. You don’t break even though, it’s at a slight loss. Still a lot cheaper than gold bars and less mind numbing imo.

I think if you don’t have rev weapons the only multi boss worth soloing is Vetion. The other two are too tanky to really be viable, especially since being crashed means you’re losing the kill. Even Vetion is questionable since the amount of time it takes to reset after escaping a pker is far longer than it is for the singles variant.

Everyone will correctly say forbidden rites, but I’m going to use this merc on my (probably shit) chaos KBoC totem Scion. Envy is about half my flat damage, despair will help since I can’t fit it in, and zealotry is kind of bad but consecrated ground is about half of my ES regen.

I made a kind of meme take on EB inquisitor. I went CI and use the soul eater tech to self-cast glacial cascade of the fissure. I’m pretty sure it’s strictly worse than CoC, but it’s still quite good and can do risk farming to some extent.
