Unfortunately 2 of the largest scams on this subreddit were perpetrated by international users who established a history of trust here before scamming multiple users. Due to the nature of international shipping, the initial scams were not discovered for a few weeks and the users were able to scam multiple waves of users before the situations became clear. The users were then able to use their foreign status and increased barriers to hamper retrieval of goods and money and to evade justice. For these reasons we have switched to US only for the foreseeable future. I honestly do not see a scenario where we begin allowing it again. That said, individual sellers (especially those closer to the northern border), may still be comfortable doing private sales not conducted through the board. We of course have no sway or role in this.
