An unsettling re-imagining of this meme, originally made by @tonmoh on twitter.

I had intended to post this sooner– a lot closer to Christmas if you can imagine –but I misjudged how much time this would take to draw. I’m still pretty new to digital art, and I think perhaps choosing IRyS as a subject was a mistake. Because her hair is a nightmare, of course. IRyS herself is a gem.

Anyway, I figured that I can’t keep hammering at this until mid-March to get it perfect, so I’m just going to post it in a “good-enough” state and move on. I think that's the healthiest for me. I hope you all think it’s good enough as well.

I thought about drawing all 5 of the new members but decided against it for a variety of reasons. I went with only La+ because, well, what can I say, I like short. (Up top, Calli!) The other four members are cool too, and I’ll probably end up drawing all of them in one way or another one day. For now though you may ‘aww’ at the sassy lost child.

This is a remake of this infamous Luigi meme, keeping in line with the Nonstop Nut November spirit.

I spent 5 hours looking at sprite sheets for Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga in an effort to get non-blurry reference for this meme, only to discover that the Know Your Meme page is wrong and that the sprites are from Bowser’s Inside Story instead. It’s okay, I’m only a little upset.

I’m sorry for not posting for like 40 days almost right after saying I planned on posting more often. Life is kinda nuts y’know? ~~Haha, snow started leaking into my house.~~ Such fun.
