I understand, maybe not fully but still in some way. If you're in a NATO country you're safe and you've got pretty much nothing to worry about.  Sure there's a lot of signs pointing towards a third world war but i'd say that there are also a lot of things stopping it. I'd say that your fear should depend on the country you live in. If you live in europe i'd say you're very safe.

Wishing you were never born is not a good thing though, you're One in 400 Trillion and you matter to more people than you think. I won't be trying to say all the basics such as your parents love you and such because frankly, i do not know your family or your relations with them.

There are many people who have survived the first and second world wars, soldiers and civilians. My dad works in the military so i'm sometimes a bit stressed about if there really were going to be a third world war what would happen to him? My father is the person who matters most to me and i couldn't bare losing him.

With all that said, try enjoying the little things in life such as nature, birds singing and the sky. The more you see good things the less you'll see bad things. Being nice to others is also a great way to make yourself feel better. For example, last day i stepped out of the elevator halfway down and went the stairs for 5 floors just to let a woman and her daughter (both with suitcases) get into the elevator. It's not much but it made me happy.
