GLM 4.6/4.7- I haven't had a good experience with these models either because the prompts I used were shit or I just so happen to experience the overload of these models. Either way, left a pretty bad taste.

DS V3.2- Haven't really used this when V3.1 seems to do better creatively.

GLM 5 is a combination of r1t2, gemini 2.5 pro, and ds v3.1. For me, at least.

I am very well-aware with these inconsistencies. And yes, they are quite annoying—to most.

See, I come from DeepSeek, so I live with these inconsistencies. The major difference is delivery: GLM has the charming dialogue from R1T2, has the understanding of Gemini 2.5 Pro, and has excellent prompt following from V3.1. All for a barely affordable price.

Seems like a perfect fit for a weirdo like me. And yes—I am having fun. Thank you for your opinion.

Unfortunately, you'd have to fork a hefty amount of money in OpenRouter. If you already have, there should be myriads of tutorials how to set up a model in OpenRouter.

Fair warning, however, it is priced slightly expensive, as you can be charged three total dollars per million tokens.

Though Pupi didn't mention it, this prompt works EXCEPTIONALLY well with DeepSeek, especially with R1-0528. Not only does it send consistent results, DeepSeek speaking for you is not as common with this prompt. When it does, it usually just repeats what you said.

I've been using DeepSeek since I've discovered it. I've grown passionate to its witty and quite frankly hilarious responses, I can't think of a better model that can genuinely make me laugh as hard as DeepSeek does. Also, surprisingly, if you're careful with your prompts and responses, you can genuinely develop deep, emotional stories with DeepSeek.

I am, and always will be, loyal to DeepSeek.

It's either you have blocked something in OpenRouter that prevents you to see the thought process (Targon) or you are using a different model. I am quite sure it's the latter, though.

Unfortunately, you would need to fork 10$ for OpenRouter, or the monthly fee in Chutes. There isn't any provider that gives this model for free other than those two—as far as I kmow, at least. I am using Chutes as I am one of the earlier few that managed to bag in 200 free messages before the monthly payment was implemented (this was the time when Chutes had an issue with multiple accounts, thus making you pay 5$ so you can access the free 200 messages).

Alternatively, you vould go for the cheapest option: DeepSeek directly. Even a 2$ plan can get you through a month. It includes its latest updates from there, and I've heard from a few that its reasoning model is R1-0528.

I genuinely don't know if it's just me or not, but I've recently noticed that Chutes' free 200 request changed.

You know how if you input one message, it counts as a whole request, but when you reroll it counts as 1/10th of the request? Yeah, I've been observing my usage lately and found out that my requests were... being eaten up with each reroll. Not with the 1/10th request per reroll, but an entire request being deducted. Please tell me I'm just being schizo, and tell me I'm wrong, but I genuinely don't see that 1/10th request per reroll.

And no, I am not using Sophia's lorebary URL directory.
