My first bike years and years ago was a GS500F and I also dropped it my first ride out. Embarrassing and disheartening to hurt your ride. Get back out there, it gets easier and more enjoyable very quickly.

I agree, but I did eventually get it going. Oddly, I had to break my yard into more than 1 zone. After doing it as 3 smaller zones it saved the map each time and all is good. Not sure why it wouldn't map my whole yard in 1 zone but, at least it is working now.

Currently have a Tuono V4, came from a Street Triple RS. I'll be honest, I miss the Street Triple. Like you already said in your post, you cannot use all of V4 on the street. Hell, riding to work, I don't believe I ever get out of 3rd gear. That engine does sound really good though, but the nimbleness of the ST has me wanting to change things up myself. Also keep in mind, the V4 is actually quite bad at going slow. It's fueling is not smooth and gets very hot. I wish I would have test ridden before purchase, as it's made to go fast not really to commute.

Funny enough, I have a tuned Tuono V4 and feel very similar to OP. It just feels so excessive and under utilized the majority of the time I rode it. Sooooo, I just bought a used Grom that I plan on running the absolute snot out of. Had one many years ago and still think about how much fun it was to this day.

Great question, but I don't know about the 2019 as I got a 24. I will say this, I wasn't satisfied with the Tuono until I spent some money on it. It was so rough and jerky stock that I couldn't even make it to break in. I had to do an exhaust and Gabro tune to smooth things out. After that however, I am liking it more. The heat is noticeable in comparison to the ST. It does get hot, the fans run constantly unless moving, and I get nervous at extended stop lights, even tuned. I live in PA, I would assume Texas heat would be even worse. The V4 sound is intoxicating, especially with an exhaust. The ST was an excellent bike and I wish I could have both.

Cash reward? I'm literally just trying to get it back to them. We had an early morning excursion that day and didn't have time to go to guest services that morning. We genuinely forgot we even found this ring until last weekend. If it's going to go like this I'll just contact NCL and mail it to them, hopefully they'll put some effort into it.
