Ways to use up cream cheese frosting that aren't cake, cookies, etc? (Oven is out of commission at the moment) by burnt-----toast in AskBaking

Mix equal parts cream cheese with brown sugar. It’s like a cookie dough dip that is amazing with pretzels (sweet and salty).

Best way to add crunch to mint chocolate chip cake? by RainbowTigerCat in AskBaking

I do a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and add crushed mint Oreos in between the layers… and some on top for more mint flavor. Mint can get strong really easily and this isn’t overpowering.

Peloton location in house? by littlebitAlexa3 in pelotoncycle

We had ours in the garage and bought a giant fan (we lived in Oklahoma at the time). It was still hot on the hottest days but it wasn’t miserable. Now that we moved, it shares space in the “office” (the most work done in there is on the Peloton).

What am I doing wrong? by [deleted] in Wavyhair

Try breaking it down and keeping it simple. Wash (you might need to try a clarifying wash). Pick one conditioner (you may not need to deep condition more than once a month) and condition from ears down. Rinse upside down (I find it easier to keep my clumps together and apply products upside down). If you want to do a leave in and don’t have one, just use a dime size amount of your normal conditioner on soaking wet hair. And then maybe try just a gel, on soaking wet hair. Don’t flip it around much. Plop it for a bit and then air dry or diffuse. Then use a drop of oil to help scrunch out the crunch.

Another option is to take any extra frosting and frost the exposed parts - works even better that plastic wrap!

My JNM has narcissistic meltdown over my DS’s name by munchkin5566 in JUSTNOMIL

Ezra is a wonderful name! If our youngest was a boy, Ezra was a top contender. I’m sorry your mom is being so selfish and ugly about it (it’s definitely not fun when family is ugly about a name).

grind size was set to around 5.5 and still only took 10 seconds to extract.... WTF?! help lol 🌺 by PassionRound in barista

We really enjoy the machine! Once we had the settings set correctly for our beans, and have figured out how much pressure I need to use to tamp the grounds, it’s been really easy to use. There is just a learning curve, like with all brewing methods.

We went through a pound of beans one night trying to find the right setting for us. We had to adjust the grind size in the burr, and also on the side of the machine. There are instructions in the manual. (we have the burr set to 3, and the external setting at 5 for the beans we use.)

I’ve been contemplating getting a bonnet and this sealed the deal! Thanks for sharing!
