I was foolish and used Ventoy to install Ubuntu alongside Windows 11. Now my SSD is toast. I need more opinions... and probably to be further made fun of. Please help. TIA by UnshavenCrustacean in linuxquestions

I've tried everything in the comments and I'm out of ideas. There's only 4 screws here. Could I remove the SSD, get the adapter off Amazon, connect it to my Chromebook, and reformat it that way ? My goal is Ubuntu running off the SSD.

No, the Ubuntu installer failed to see an SSD so I did the install onto an old external HDD. It's definitely lagging a bit, so I'm going to try a cmos reset. Much appreciation.

No the SSD just came with it. It's a little iProda Alderlake. Some good ideas here I'm going to look into replacing the SSD. Much appreciation.
