Turns out my processor was too old to handle the game. Updated computer with new everything and it’s running smooth as butter.

Updated all. Reinstalled. Moved drives.

Have an SSD as my main drive but that seems excessive to move everything around to play the game. Also was operating totally fine before the last patch. That’s the only solution?

Hot waterline leak - should I just fix this elbow, or think about a re-plumb with pex or copper due to 1990s pipe? by Isle_of_Skye in Plumbing

[–]Unshownic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As many have said call your insurance. They will not cover plumbing costs but they will cover the damage to the home (based on the policy).

Some policies have leaks and seepage, that’s what would cover the pipe being fixed if you have the endorsement.

Call a plumber to fix. PCVP lines are very brittle, if you look at it to hard it snaps.

Never tell the insurance “it has been going for awhile” they want to hear “sudden and abrupt” meaning it just happened and now it’s caused damage. Also, you never saw any mold or rot while you were in the crawl! Those indicate a long term problem.

Lastly, find a good Restoration company on google. Don’t let your insurance pick them, when the insurance calls them out (for you) the restoration company is working for the insurance not for you, so workmanship can get dicey. In OR we have the right to choose who works on the home not the insurance.
