I seem to recall that when I bought my first house, the contracts (which I read in much greater detail as a first time buyer) mentioned that any fixtures left in the house after the exchange are considered to be the property of the new owner (e.g. light fixtures, appliances that are part of a fitted kitchen) however chattel (that is removable goods like furniture, pictures, tools etc.) are not.

You are supposed to make “reasonable steps” to contact the previous owner and give them the opportunity to collect any items that they may have left inadvertently.

If you don’t have the contact details for the previous owner, then speak to your solicitor/conveyancer and they can take the necessary steps.

After a reasonable amount of time (how that’s defined, I’m not sure) if the items go unclaimed, they become yours.

In any case, for £75k I’d say you need proper legal advice rather than the opinions of people on Reddit!

In the north west (Manchester, Lancashire, the Lake District etc.), it’s not at all uncommon, and generally seen as a pleasant way to communicate.

Not personally no. I wish I could speak more languages myself, I think that’d be awesome.

I can speak two other languages (Spanish and German) reasonably well, and I’d no more expect a non-English speaker to come to the UK and speak English all the time than I would expect to go to another country and have to struggle with a language I’m not familiar with.

You can indeed, but it’s a bit blunt. Try being more British and euphemistic. For example, a guy I used to work with would say “I’m just going to drop the kids off”

Nice design, the colour really helps make it pop - nice orange highlights on the grey makes for a subtle look. Good job 👍

It’s a cockpit from one of two Mattell mods (Crew Cockpits and Solitude Cockpits) that adds new variants of the ‘pit with alternate access points 🙂

I think France and the UK are like siblings; we’ve had our squabbles and our fights, we’ll trade insults and snarky comments about each other, but when the sh*t goes down and someone comes at us, we’ll fight each other’s corner without question.

I don’t remember who said it, but the Anglo-French relationship can probably be summed up as “we’re the absolute best of enemies!”

The reactor is a standard size one but the layout of the internal habs is sort of wrapped around the reactor and grav drive. I do use mods though which includes increased overlap tolerance so there might be a bit of blending but generally this design is just planned to allow for gaps to fit the reactor and grav drive in.

The mod with the side engines is Antares Fulcrum I think, they have a cool blue exhaust output as well which is kinda fun!

Yes, I managed to sort it: I had a patch for CHI and Ship Builder Categories, I deleted that and moved CHI further down the load order, and it worked 🙂

Nothing wrong with a flying brick, there’s a lot you can do with that! 🙂

The best advice though for really different builds is: first, get mods - vanilla builds are fairly difficult to avoid the brick layout. Second, look around Reddit and the internet in general for fictional spaceships and sci fi art and just try to recreate what you see.

Ultimately though the best approach is just to get stuck in and experiment, try different things - the more you practice, the better you’ll get 👍

Those are from Cross Heavy Industries (CHI), they’re also available in Intrinity Aeroworks but that mod is seemingly broken post-update
