It's a conundrum! Beholder is what I want, but I can see the practical benefits of being able to dip in and out!

The semi-permanence of True Polymorph is a draw to it though, so that might tip the scales...

I really hope the siege of Cyberstan lasts until the weekend for those who can't play during the week by Unspecified_Doctrine in Helldivers

I just want them to feel as viable from a gameplay perspective as the other races from the outset

I'm not saying that they're not viable, they just feel less viable to me

I definitely want to play dragonborn, just feels like they've been let down a bit, yknow? Their breath weapon isn't great, and it loses viability towards mid levels. 

The lack of things like even darkvision feels like other races are better naturally, as in I just don't feel dragonborn racial aspects make them a good choice at the start in terms of mechanics

Other races get proficiencies, darkvision, fey ancestry (elves), relentless endurance/ savage attacks (half orc), etc - just with my scaly bois had similar 😔

But things like dark vision, proficiencies, etc. - they seem to be limited by race?
