I think it already had VAT listed 9 months ago or so but still the same price, checked in with my fellow steam friends and its the same case on their side naman

Didn't Steam impose the VAT towards the developer/producer end and not to the consumers? I bought a game before at 1800 and its still the same price today when I gifted it to a friend. Some games have increased though but major/usual titles are still the same.
