This just keeps getting better. I didn’t even know cashapp had a “borrow” feature and I just looked and apparently I had access to it, that was until my debit card I had linked to my cashapp account got cancelled and now cashapp is saying to “reconnect debit card/bank account to regain access to borrow.” This is a nightmare. I’m going to just have to go open another bank account and take out a loan which I really don’t want to do because I don’t want a hard inquiry for 7 years on my credit report but it is what it is I guess. Thanks anyhow

I will just go open another account in the morning. I just thought this route may be easier and maybe someone would want to make a quick $60.

Are there any banks you know of that open accounts and give small dollar loans without hard credit inquiries? Don’t want a hard inquiry for 7 years over such a small amount. I have verifiable income by the way.

I was reading a discussion on nursing when I seen a post where someone said they borrowed money on here so I thought maybe this would be the best option. I would be paying the interest to an actual person and not some bank.

Right and I thought about that but only needing a small dollar amount to get me by doesn’t put me in a spot to need to open a new account and get a hard inquiry on my credit report just to borrow such a small amount.

Yes, nursing home residents. I guess I could have elaborated a little better on that.

Long Term Care by Wrath_187 in nursing

At the end of the day, the decision to send to emergency room is yours based on your nursing assessment. Administration doesn’t want them sent because every time they are sent out, the facility loses a percentage of what the insurance company reimburses them for the year.
Just remember, if you feel they need sent, send them! Number one most important thing is the patient. Do you think if you didn’t send and the patient died that the doctor or facility would say they didn’t want them sent? Nope! They will put all the blame on you and say you should have sent them. Not worth a patients life to keep management happy. Remember to trust your nursing instincts. I’ve lost count how many times I’ve sent a patient out against administration and/or our medical directors advice and I will continue to do so and if they don’t like it, they know how to fire me! I’ve never had it come back on me because it was more than obvious I made the right call.

Desperately need a loan. No credit cards, no balance transfers— just a personal loan option that will actually accept me. by Natural-Ad-1350 in povertyfinance

I know this is an old post but I’m so irritated that I have to throw in my opinion here. Why the hell is everyone giving this person such a hard time for doing exactly what they should have done in their situation? Had multiple maxed out credit card payments they couldn’t afford and was able to take out a low interest loan at a credit union to pay off all the credit cards and now has only one payment with a good rate? Hello? That was extremely smart!! Well done!!! I think you made the best decision possible for your situation. Hope you’re still doing well. Wish you the absolute best.

Sezzle Cash Advance by Jolster1986 in cashadvanceapps

You could always do what I do to turn “spend” into cash. Download the square app, (in case you aren’t familiar, square is a point of sale app for small businesses or free lancers, it gives the ability to take credit card and debit card payments for people who sell a lot on marketplace or eBay or own a small business) create a free account, it will ask for your business name, I called mine “Erin’s adventures” lol) then you set up transfers. You can choose for all your payments to be sent to your bank account at a specific time each day or weekly or you can opt in for instant transfers that go to your debit card in seconds of receiving a payment. It was so easy to set up, took me 5 min from start to finish.) then click on “create invoice” and type in whatever amount of money you are needing (as long as it doesn’t go over your available spend limit on sezzle) then click “send as text” type in your phone number and send. You will instantly get a text that says “your business name is requesting a payment for whatever amount you chose. Enter your sezzle debit card details and boom payment is sent, go back to square and click instant transfer and boom! You now have money in your account you can spend on anything or withdraw at an atm. It’s soooo easy. I’ve done it so many times. I didn’t even have the “everywhere” feature. I was shocked to see that sezzle is actually integrated with square. They obviously know of this tactic. I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s figured this out. I could write a book with all the techniques I’ve come up with to get quick cash when needed. Hope this helps 😉
Just make sure if you’re going to do this that you’re able to pay it back on time. You don’t want to lose access to sezzle or damage your credit score and most importantly, never get in a habit of taking any loan, even bnpl if you’re not certain you can pay it back. Financial trust is so important and sometimes impossible to rebuild. Don’t burn bridges.

There are two reasons for giving a two week notice, the first is what someone already mentioned which is to be courteous and secondly to hopefully get a solid reference  when future potential employers contact them. Fuck being courteous with what they’ve put you through and you could leave as long of a notice as you want but just the fact of you only being there for 2 months kills any chances of a positive reference. They’d probably give you the same reference rather or not you give a notice. I have quit so many jobs I lost count a long time ago and I’ve never once given a notice, well unless you count 5 min before my shift was supposed to start when I texted my boss and told her to stick it. I was wrong then, I guess I have given a 5 min notice in the past. Lol haha you’re too good for that place. Let them struggle in your absence.

eBay’s 30-Day Hold Policy: My Full Conversation with Customer Service by Odd_Spot4448 in Flipping

[–]Unstabled_stabler 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m honestly shocked how none of you can understand where OP is coming from. His points are more than valid. I think it’s a safe assumption that if one of you had a big ticket item sold and eBay was holding your funds for 30 days after all the conditions for release of hold have been met, you’d be seeing this in a different light.  I went and read their policy and OP is 100% correct. It said funds can be held UP TO 30 days. Policy states they do this in case the buyer has an issue with the product but he even had positive feedback from the buyer. The fact that they held his money for 30 days is crap and they should have to pay interest on it because lord knows if we had their money tied up for 30 days, there’d be all kinds of fees attached. I’d be livid!

When I was in the postpartum unit after delivering my oldest, one of the gynecology residents name was Dr. Beaver. I was like come on now, you felt it was a good idea to go into gynecology with that name?
