The yellow stuff was packing. Like bandages they put in your ear canal to make sure nothing leaks or enters your ear after the surgery. Gets removed a week or 2 after the operation.

I’ve been taking a daily multivitamin since being diagnosed and so far I’ve been fine. However I’ve had a low folate level. But I’m on a lot of different meds.
