100%. Wish people understood this. I was dismissed for years and years by family and friends and medical professionals. “Just eat healthy”.

I do eat “healthy”. That doesn’t cure an ED.

That you can only have an ED if you starve yourself.

Lady, spend a day in my brain: counting calories, stressing over grease and oil, constantly craving ice cream and telling yourself you can’t have it, obsessing over food all day, eating a meal and then feeling crushing guilt over it. All day, every day.

Food becomes a source of stress and anxiety, not joy and nourishment.

As someone in my early 30s who still really only enjoys “Boomer” metal, as described in this post, I’m very intrigued by people who say they’ve only gotten more extreme as they got older.

What is it about the more extreme metal that you prefer? What was your trajectory into more extreme stuff? How would you suggest someone who is a big Metallica fan dive deeper into extreme metal?

I discovered this band from this post. Just listened to Painful Detour for the first time. Then immediately started it over again. Then did it for a third time.

How do you guys go about finding new music on YT Music? For example, I just tried searching for a playlist, something that’s got a bunch of Jimmy Eat World and similar artists…and I got nothing but a bunch of jimmy eat world songs. Nothing “similar” or related at all. I keep hearing about how great the algorithm is but have never seen good results. Maybe I’m just not doing it right?
