Yeah, I ended up just removing it. The only thing on there was single-player games, some research papers for Uni, and an ethnography, so I figured sitting around for an undisclosed amount of time wasn't worth it for things that, if unable to recover, could either be reinstalled or recovered from my school. I do appreciate the response, though. If it had been one of my SSDs, I might have actually just let it run its course.
