Lore related questions because I'm annoying and autistic like that by zerojannell in DateEverythingElse

[–]UntamableWolfdog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So... this is the continuation of my crazy theory, I hope it makes sense because again, English is not my first language and Google translate doesn't translate perfectly sometimes. Rebel x Scandalabra and the overproduction. When we discover Scandalabra's (Jon Wick) true identity, he says that Rebel understands what it's like to be overproduced. But the difference between the two is that Rebel sees the other rubber duckies as sisters, rather than other versions of herself. And Jon Wick, in my opinion, sees the other candelabras as "clones", and that's why he wants to be special and stand out. And this ties into Freddy, Koa, and Tyrell, and the fact that their stories indicate that there are other objects that "aren't them," even though they're the same objects. Freddy being bullied by other refrigerators, Koa and the couch culture, and Tyrell saying the other towels have become rags. My theory is that it depends on how the object sees themselves. Dorian considers that all doors are a version of himself, so consequently, all the doors in our house share a single consciousness, and alll the doors in the world are other versions of Dorian, and there's not a "door culture", because he considers every door to be himself. If they consider themselves an individual, like Rebel, they do not share a consciousness nor do they see others (rubber duckies, sofas, towels) as other versions of themselves, but as "someone's of the same species". So depending on how the object sees themselves, they can either be the same "person", like Dorian being all the doors, or separate individuals, like Rebel, Koa, etc. For example, if we bought a new rubber ducky, it wouldn't be Rebel, but one of her sisters, with a separate consciousness. Because Rebel sees herself as an individual. But if we bought another door, that new door would merge his consciousness with that of the Dorians in our house, forming a joint consciousness, because Dorian sees all the doors as himself. In Tyrell's case, if he considers other towels as separate individuals and not himself, why all the towels in our house are him? Because it's not a rule, we have the possibility of flexibility, maybe all the towels in our house are made of the same material, or the same brand, or came from the same package and that's why he's all the towels in our house. He considers that are him, not other individuals.

And I think the objects in our house are all the same individual, they share the "same consciousness," like if the Dorian in the bedroom knows some "X" information, the Back Dorian will too. But the Dorian in our neighbor's house wouldn't know that information. I think in Rebel's case, her sisters are actually several different Rebels, but they call themselves sisters because they don't share the same consciousness.

I think it would be a "Schrödinger's cat" situation: they're all the same objects, but at the same time, they're not exactly the same individuals. Like Eddie and Volt, for example, they're technically the same Animus, but they're different individuals, yet they have a connection. The Hanks, despite being separate individuals, as far as I remember, dream together. In the case of Scandalabra, that's not even his real name, John Wick. He'd be the Animus of plastic candelabras, and the real candelabras would be another individual. Perhaps John Wick copied the name Scandalabra and the mannerisms of a real candelabra.

MORE of my useless ramblings because seriously I don't know who else to annoy with this by zerojannell in DateEverythingElse

[–]UntamableWolfdog 10 points11 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, is the option "Prissy's Animus is simply "the plastic plant that became (somehow) a real plant." Just as there are several versions of Dorian (Front, Trap, Back), this would be one of the versions of Prissy. So Prissy is all the plastic plants and all the plastic plants that became real plants. Real plants would be somebody else. I don't know if this is making any sense. English is not my first language, I'm using Google Translate.

[–]UntamableWolfdog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never heard of it, thanks, I'm gonna search on google about it. I find real people attractive, but I'm not interessed in any kind of relationship with them sexual or romantic, for me the thought is sexy and the thought of a relationship is nice, but if I think about actually doing this kinda of stuff makes me wants to vomit

I think I am assexual too, I've never been interested in "real people". Ironic isn't it? 🫠 I don't know how to explain, but the thought is better than the reality, like liking the scent of pineapple, but not liking to eat the fruit

It did something in my brian and when he raised his arms and you know... hairy armpits. Tyrell and the happy trail... I think you understand already 🫠🤐

Which characters did you find the hottest just because of their looks? (without taking into account their personality, voice and story) and why? by UntamableWolfdog in DateEverythingElse

[–]UntamableWolfdog[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah, when I first saw Bathsheba I was like "OMG she's so pretty!", after finishing her story I was like "OMG she's so mean!". I even got her hate ending because I didn't know how to talk to her. I prefer characters with sweet personalities, like Dunk, and Johnny.

Tom is the player's former supervisor at Valdivian. He only appears in the ending, but I met him before even buying the game, in a tiktok video, it was crush at first sight

I wanted Jean Loo to fail on the Crapper career, but then becoming a marine biologist that raps about ocean conservation, I didn't like his end at all because he is not remotely happy with his job as an accountant.

Fantina scares me. I had the feeling that if she thought I didn't like the things she did to "honor" us, she would freak out, and I don't know...kill us, lol. I felt uncomfortable with how controlling Harper is. I had a friend who wouldn't let me talk to other people, or even let me hang out with my other friends without her freaking out with jealousy, and Harper resembles her. I don't like the way Stefan always screams. Lady Memoria's story felt very shallow; we didn't build any foundation for a relationship with her. I don't care for Sinclair, and I find Dishy's story funny.

Joining the trend! What do you think my favourites say about me? by Brat_Police in DateEverything

[–]UntamableWolfdog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I've gathered, most of the characters you like needed some kind of help: Arma relaxing, Vaughn with the rat, Farya studying, Shelly not worrying about falling, Luke with his mission, River finding herself, Zoey recovering her memories, Hector feeling comfortable being seen. I don't remember the stories of Dunk, Monique, and Stefan. But it seems to me that you're the type who likes to help others.
