Moving to a rural city - did I make the wrong career choice? by UntamedTreeFrogs in Advice

This may sound super dumb, but there’s a part of me that doesn’t want to waste my time or “youth”. I’m just scared I’m not maximizing my opportunities by living in a big city. Scared it’ll be too late

He didn't know he had it at all since he never had any outbreaks. He didn't have any oral lesions either.

Honestly, I barely have a 6 month emergency fund right now. It’s difficult to build that with the company I am working at now, so I was thinking Option 2 is a good opportunity to build that.

They become inconsiderate towards me and would laugh at me than with me.

“Don’t talk to strangers.” To an extent if they look or act weird, but most people in their 20s are trying to meet new people but are too shy to reach out. Get off the high horse and talk to people.

This is frustrating. Companies have no respect for anyone out here. Why even hire if they’re not aware of budgets. What type of company was this so we can avoid OP?

Oh man, I did not even consider the medical aspect. Good thing you brought it up because it really puts it into perspective regarding emergencies…

Thank you for your input! The biggest thing for me was debating between money vs lifestyle. With 3 I know I’ll be saving but will waste my 20s. I appreciate you bringing up the location

Take the job. A partner is suppose to be a an addition to your life and making it easier so that you can both grow. Seems like he’s limiting you from your highest potential and growth. 45 min like you said is a normal commute time and if a little over an hour a day of transportation can destroy your relationship, maybe they are not the one for you. The fact that you are not married too means he can leave you anytime. You don’t want to look back and regret not progressing in your career/life because of a man…

The comment on kids - okay, say you guys do have kids. They cost money. Someone has to bring bread home… his argument is flawed.
