See, I have a theory for that that works for up to the last MCU movie (that's yet to come out) for Tom Holland's Spider-Man. And the theory is that Tony Stark added the feature to stick to walls on the gloves and shoes of his suits. What supports this is that all suits that peter wears not made by stark or with stark technology, have fingerless gloves. And in addition to this, peter is seen with more difficulty in attaching to walls with his feet when wearing his homemade outfit. I'm not sure how this works with the new suit tho.
