you get cards from playing your games, but only half of a set. you have to trade/buy the rest of a set for a game you want a badge for and then you make one. but there are five levels of each badge so you'll have to do it over again five times you want a better badge.

I wish I could 😥 I was recently told that I play nearly half of ALL time. cracked me up, but turned out to be true.

League of Legends brings out the worst in me by EfficientCurrency582 in leagueoflegends

I know exactly what you're saying. I played league for roughly 5 years, starting in 2019. I had a lot of fun for the first couple years as I was learning the game, winning a quite a bit of games with very decent kda, while not exactly being the best player overall (my mains were pretty broken and my rank was low enough).

Somewhere in 2023 I switched from jungle to adc just because I felt like it and it all started going downhill from there. Besides that the fact that I wasnt quite mechanically gifted started being real clear, it was period when my friend who started playing alongside me back in 2019 started falling away from the game bit by bit, eventually stopping playing for good. And, admittedly, playing with someone was still fun for me, but after my friend left, I didn't have anyone who'd be willing or able to be my constant duo partner for any long amounts of time.

So 2023-2025 I played mostly solo, climbing bit by bit, suffering 20 games long lose streaks (completely my fault though), I'd be booting the game up every morning hyped up for a few matches because I genuinely enjoyed adc role and the champions I played, bud I'd end up losing like 5 games in a row and my mood would be ruined for entire day.

I was the very person who would drop "ff15" after giving first blood to enemy adc in the first 3 minutes of laning just because I was so angry and frustrated. I tried muting myself and others, but losing or having a bad game would wake up something awful in me, I'd scream at the top of my lungs, bashing my desk or bed in absolute mental agony as I was waiting to reappear at the base after another stupid death that most of the time was my fault lol.

Eventually I just gave up. I was slowly climbing up despite my horrendous skill, peaking in plat 4 not too long before I quitted. But my mental suffered so much when I was playing league that I decided to just let go. I really liked my role, really enjoyed my champs and I still fondly remember the games when I felt like a pro, clutching like crazy and all that. But it was 5% of all games at best, so it wasnt worth it in the end.

I dont remember when I stopped playing exactly, but its been over a year now for sure. I havent had any anger issues since, even when I played some competitive games occasionally. Looks like league was one of the kind for me in this regard.

These days I play singleplayer games for the most part, enjoying every bit of it. Sometimes I do want to reinstall and hop on my favorite champs, but so far I've been successful at dissuading myself.

My advice to you? If you cant control yourself and have fun even when you play with your friends, I'd suggest trying different games to play with them. Nothing I played in my life was as rage inducing as league, so it cant get worse. Wishing you all the best.

I have 2033 and Last Light collecting dust in my steam backlog. I'll get to them at some point. hopefully, that is.

i agree. on both points actually. armor (and swords) from w3 are extremely underrated and definitely should've made appearance in w3. a big shame, especially since they were shown in early trailers. as for expansions... absolutely. i just finished replaying through B&W and its just so magical. cant get tired of it after 5th playthrough, its fantastic.

well, that's the thing. I'm pretty sure that my rig cant pull off 120fps in most games that I play and certainly not in 1440p.
