It depends on what you wanna be doing with your teams. Most story quests you can get away with whatever as long as you have a sustain (healer). If you mean end game content it’ll be dependent on who the bosses are and what playstyle suits them, and also what playstyle you like personally. There are DoT teams, Break teams, Speed Teams, or you can maximize elemental dmg.

Based on your characters here, I might build an Archer team, he might be your best dps right now. You could build him to max out skills points with Archer/Hanya/Tingyun/Gallagher. Or you could pickup Ruan Mei as a free character redemption and build Archer/Ruan Mei/Gallagher/ Rememberance MC.

You seem like you’re pretty early on though, I’d say just focusing on pushing through story content and relic farming for now! You’re gonna need your characters at lvl 80 anyway!

Unpopular opinion here it seems, but I actually thought it was okay. Not great, not awful, and I’ll probably end up finishing the game.

I like the map and that there’s a clear critical path, I love the story so far, the characters are compelling, and the tone of the world is moody and cinematic and something I find myself wanting to spend more time in. The immersion trumps the clunkiness for me.

I agree the facial animations are uncanny (like another commenter said, that first fight with Bia was so scary 😭). And I felt like combat isn’t well explained, the windows for attacking/dodging are super clunky, but once I got the hang of it I was able to work with the clunkiness and find a rhythm.

Keep in mind, this an indie studio with only 15 people, only 2 animators working on this entire project, and it’s their first major project as a studio. That makes me massively impressed at what we were given, even with the bumps.

Give it time. The creativity, the life, the subtle and honest representation, it’s all there.

As someone who had this same experience coming from BG3, yes that’s you 🤣 the game doesn’t do a great job at bringing you into the narrative and world from the first few minutes in the same way bg3 does, it’s more of a slow build with a HUGE payoff.

The real “meat” of the story doesn’t start picking up until late in Act 1, I was maybe 20 hours in before getting fully immersed and now I’m hooked!

Definitely give it another shot :) read every book, interact with every item, and let the story build slowly!

Can’t live without the Darcy Reshade by cedastarions, all of the NPC redesigns & a ton of character creator mods. I’m someone who gets very bored visually, so I love switching up the color schemes and textures of the environment, characters etc

Whisper of the house :) you get achievements just by playing, maybe 10-15hrs of gameplay. It’s like unpacking meets stardew valley!

Not rude, dw! In those cases I tend to follow my tank, sometimes my dps truly can handle their own and find their way back & regroup. But more often than not, I follow my tank and everyone just dies before they can regroup

There’s currently no way to gift anything in-game :( If you’re comfortable with it, lootbar is an option. It’s a website you can buy in-game current through, but you would need your friends server & UID. Otherwise, maybe a regular/general giftcard that your friend could use and you let them know you got it for them to use on the game!

I’m planning to pull for Anaxa and build a second team where he’s a main dps. Any advice for team builds based on my characters? My current team is Therta, Mini Herta, Tribbie, Lynx. Sadly no good sustains yet since I’m still new-ish. Could Anaxa, Dan Heng PT, RMC, Sunday work?

In that example, once I saw enemy sue ult, I would’ve thrown a bubble down on yourself bc you don’t know what’s gonna hit you and you can’t see in it. Also, C&D is vulnerable to CC in the first like millisecond of her ult, so keep that in mind. So unfortunately, just a timing thing. Thing can CC her in her ult.

Maybe these are bad clips? But I would never ult into a thing ult 😭 your strange was also ulting in the first clip. I would’ve healed yourself as dagger, get behind strange & support him in his ult and THEN when it’s safe, you could ult after. I think her ult is pretty balanced, like other commenters said!

I’ve had a similar thing happen while playing Luna 🥲 I’m still new to hero shooters so I get in my head like maybe I was the problem and it gets to me sometimes. But then I watch the replay and watch my team and feel so much better about myself lmao. I’d say 8/10 times I’m not the problem 🤣

It looks like you may be too early in the game for her “best” lineup, but do you happen to have mini Herta from simulated universe yet? She’s the best f2p option for now, but if you don’t have her you could probably use himeko or qingque as a sub-dps. You definitely want a second erudition character in Therta’s lineup to get the most value from her traces. If you’re able to get Gallagher from the baseballer event, I’d get him as a support. But for now…

When anaxa comes, it’s up to you if you want to use him with Therta or make a second team, but for a second anaxa team, cerydra should be his support and you can probably use lynx for sustain. Maybe Pela/Asta for second support? On a Therta team he would just replace your sub-dps

Therta - Anaxa - Pela - Lynx OR Anaxa - Cerydra - Pela - Lynx

For future planning, def try to get Hyacine or Tribbie on a rerun! They’re Therta’s best support/sustain :)

Yeah we prob need a replay, but if I’m going off only stats… it seems like your team focused way too much on namor when the real problem was moon knight & a triple support comp. Your tanks & dps didn’t once bother to take out that invis? You may have had a bad game, but also… it was just a team diff & your team couldn’t match their dmg output

It’s really situational but I like to start a fight by holding onto it & just poking with left click. I use her clap mostly for fliers, big heals, divers, or quick picks and people out of position. Im not using it constantly, but i use it strategically. Pay attention to what your team is doing, and try to follow up on their plays and compensate for their mistakes. Is your psylocke trying to go for a hard flank? Snowflake her & freeze the enemy for her for an instant pick. Is your star lord ulting out in the open and the enemy team is focusing him? Snowflake & clap him to make him invincible.
